This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all rooftop solar installation services and related products provided by Eltron Energy Private Limited. Please read this policy carefully before booking a project.
Cancellation Policy
Before Site Survey: If you cancel your project before our team has completed the site survey, your booking advance is fully refundable.
After Site Survey but Before Material Procurement: If you cancel after the site survey is complete but before materials have been procured, the site survey fee may be deducted from your refund. The balance will be refunded to your original payment method within 7 working days.
After Material Procurement: Once panels, inverters, and mounting structures have been procured specifically for your project, cancellations are subject to a restocking fee. Custom-fabricated components (such as project-specific mounting structures) are non-refundable.
After Installation Has Begun: Once installation work has started on-site, the project cannot be cancelled. Customers may still raise warranty or performance concerns under the terms of their installation contract.
Refund Process
All approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, card, or cheque) within 7 to 14 working days of approval.
For payments made by cheque or demand draft, refunds are issued by NEFT/RTGS to the bank account from which the original payment was made. You may be asked to provide a cancelled cheque or bank account proof for verification.
Government Subsidy & Refunds
For projects availing the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy, the central government subsidy (up to ₹78,000) is transferred directly by the government to the beneficiary’s bank account after project commissioning. Eltron Energy facilitates the subsidy paperwork but does not hold or process subsidy funds. If a project is cancelled after the subsidy application has been submitted, the application will be withdrawn from the PM Surya Ghar portal.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims on solar panels, inverters, and other system components are handled under the terms of the respective manufacturer warranties (typically 25 years for panel performance, 5–10 years for inverters). Eltron Energy will assist with warranty claims for systems we have installed.
The Eltron Assure program provides additional 5-year performance and maintenance coverage on installations that opt into the program. Eltron Assure terms are governed by the specific Eltron Assure contract signed at the time of installation.

Please include your project booking reference number, the reason for cancellation, and any supporting documents (invoices, receipts, payment proofs). Our team will respond within 2 working days with the next steps.
